Seth Hadaway - Experiential Design

I created an artistic entertainment business for tourists.

It had a 1 gigabyte per second fiber optic internet connection. A 10 terabyte central media server. Wired for solar on all 3 floors. Generator Backup. Every room had security doors and every window had custom steel bars. It was the only entertainment hub within 20 miles. Once a bustling tourism destination, it provided fun and levity to all around. I freelanced from this location once I finished building it in late 2017.

Tree Leaf Tavern was a Bar & Restaurant.
Cosmos Cinema was a private cinema room business.

LOCATED ONE MILE INLAND FROM THE OCEAN IN THE GULF OF THAILAND.

THE CONCEPT:

Three floors of fun. WIZARD'S KEEPwith a co-working / venue space downstairs and a parlor game/dave and buster's type business on the top level. In the end, I opened one floor and business due to the influx of Chinese investment and a rapid change in tourist culture.

I worked on this Building project and business off and on
from early 2013 to late 2018.

Due to the expense of building, I took a break from 2015-2017 and and returned to NYC to be Co-creative Director (ACD) for D'Addario.

I designed the architecture.

Oversaw construction of the building.

My location was the 4th plot in what became an international village of expats from around the world. My business and 120 other tourism businesses thrived there until Chinese investment arrived in 2018-2019.

Tree Leaf Tavern and Cosmos Cinema were primarily open during the afternoon and night time for tourists and locals to relax, have some food, play a board game, video game, hang out at the bar, or watch a movie in a private air-con home theater room.

Board Gaming Lounges

Two Lounges acted as a staging ground for the 3 Cosmos Video Game and Cinema Rooms.
Guests could also book two board game "living room" lounges for groups.

Mars, Saturn, and Mercury had 4k TV's, home theater surround sound systems, and a variety of video game consoles with lots of multiplayer games to choose from.
